COME AND
EXPERIENCE
SOMETHING UNIQUE!

 

We are searching for a great number of dedicated volunteers for all Bromont events in 2008.

 

 

All our volunteers will be rewarded based on time invested.
Meals and snacks will be provided.

 


The Mondial du Velo.com will need volunteers for the following events:

THOSE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE MONDIAL DU VELO TEAM MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER (certain sectors require volunteers to be 18 years or older, this will be specified where required).

ALL SECTORS REQUIRE VOLUNTEERS TO BE VERSATILE, RESOURCEFUL AND VIGILANT, AND TO BE ABLE TO WORK IN A TEAM.


SERVICE SECTORS 

CERTAIN SECTORS, SUCH AS INFORMATION AND CREDENTIALS AND REGISTRATION, REQUIRE A CERTAIN EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC.   

REGISTRATION

Volunteers assigned to registration will manage rider sign-up on-site and number plate assignment and distribution.

PROTOCOL

Volunteers assigned to protocol work in collaboration with the event officials to coordinate the awards ceremonies where medals, flower bouquets and/or prises are handed out following the events.  Each awards ceremony is different. Being well-organized and resourceful are assets for this position. (Bromont)

RACE SERVICES

Volunteers assigned to this sector will be responsible for maintaining a link between the officials, the timing crew and the organisation.  They will work under the supervision of the chief commissar.

 

OPERATIONS SECTORS


CERTAIN SECTORS, SUCH AS SITE LAYOUT, GOPHER TEAM AND BANNERS AND ADVERTISING SET UP REQUIRE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MANUAL DEXTERITY AND GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION.

GOPHER TEAM

These volunteers are responsible for everything not assigned to anyone else.  Set up in various teams, these volunteers will be working on varied tasks, as they come up.  Volunteers for this sector should be 18 years or older and possess a valid drivers licence, as well as being in good physical condition.

SITE SET UP

These volunteers will be in charge of setting up all of the structures required by the event, including fences, start/finish arches, tents, tables, etc.

FEED ZONE

The volunteers assigned to this sector will work at the feed zones set up on the various event courses and will see to the distribution of food and drink to participants.
